As much as we are starting to feel at “home” in the Greenville & Spartanburg area I still very much miss Texas. One of the main things that makes me miss it so much are the sweet friendships I made while there, so when I head back from time to time it’s always nice to catch up with those friends whether it be with a table in between us or while I’m photographing them and their amazing families. I have been soo soo blessed to photograph my friends and their families and this family is one of those blessings.
I was friends with Kelly & Beau before they stepped in front of my camera and it brings me such joy that they have asked me to photograph their sweet family over and over again. I can’t believe the first time I photographed them was when Kelly was pregnant with their oldest and now I’m photographing them as a family of 5!!! Such an honor and ohhh how my heart feels amazing after spending time with Kelly & her family!! I photographed Kelly & Beau by themselves last February and them as a family of four twice last year (you can see those two sessions by click here & here)… y’all can I just say this family is an absolute JOY & blast to photograph!!!! E & O are total boys so there is lots of chasing and playing and having fun (and me always feeling like I just had a great workout) and now little miss E is just so content and a doll… and then Kelly & Beau are just amazing and so fun… and I could just snap photos of these 5 all day long!!!! So yeah, when Kelly contacted me about doing a session of them when I was in town I was game!! This was the one session while I was back in December that had to be rescheduled due to rain on that Friday morning but good gravy the weather Saturday morning was AMAZING and soo very beautiful and I’m so glad we had to reschedule because it was a beautiful, crisp, Texas December morning (something else I miss terribly about Texas 🙂 ).
This may be one of my favorites of them… Look at the little guys and sweet little miss E… ohhh how much I loved meeting you!!!

This right here is one of the many reasons I love this family so much. E hanging upside down, O not wanting to be part of the picture and running away…. all the while Kelly & Beau are just cracking up…
And then little O just eats it and Kelly is dying, Beau is concerned, E thinks it is hilarious that his brother just tripped, little miss E doesn’t know what to think…. O is totally okay… and I just snap away and captured the sequence of events…
And what makes it all awesome is I’m pretty sure Kelly loves all those photos and is using some in their New Year’s card!! (Kelly be sure to send me one digitally!!! I can’t wait to see what you did with them!!!)

Kelly & Beau, THANK Y’ALL soo soo much for wanting me to photograph your family. I love you guys and I so enjoy and love photographing your memories (shoot I love that we always seem to create memories at y’alls sessions!!!). I love that y’all love the candid moments and the images of y’all just being a family so much (while I love images where everyone is looking at me, I love images of love & doing life even more and I always seem to get those kinds of images with this sweet family)… Thank you for your support, love, and friendship all these years!!! Even though we are 16 hours apart I know that no matter how many miles stand between us we will always do life together. Miss you guys!!
