Spartanburg Photographer | soon to be family of 4!!!

So I have to say this session was one for the books!!!  🙂 🙂  A few Friday’s ago Jenn, Ben, and little mr. C made the trip down to Spartanburg to take family/maternity photos!!  You may recognize Jenn from a session that I did with her earlier in the year.  It was a lot of fun to have the whole family in front of my camera this time around!!!  I can’t even begin to tell you how perfect the weather was for the session.. it was amazing and there was still a FEW leaves left on the trees, but the leaves on the ground made for a beautiful backdrop!!!  Little mr. C is just a few days younger than Kenzie so I knew I had all of about 10 minutes 🙂 and he was done… surprisingly he last a lot longer and it was so much fun to capture him having fun and playing!!!  After he hit his limit I took photos of just Jenn (y’all doesn’t she look AMAZING!!!!!  this woman rocks pregnancy!!!), and then a few of her and Ben (I love these two)!!  It is such an honor and privilege to be just an hour away and have the opportunity to spend time with this sweet family and document their lives!!  I am soo excited about their 2nd little Mr. that is due to arrive this month!!!  Jenn & Ben, thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your family, your love, and your memories!!! Next time I see you all it’ll be as a family of four and I’m pretty sure I may be a puddle of tears!!!

Ohh geeze I almost forgot to tell y’all why it was one for the books!!!!  So after we were done taking photos and getting ready to pack up and head back to our house to let the kiddos play and us all catch up… Jenn & I were talking food and Ben was strapping little mr. C into his car seat… LOL, well as I’m strapping Kenzie in her carseat (her and Gary were hanging out where I did the session) Jenn came around and said “umm it may be a little while before we can go… Ben gave “C’ the car keys and he locked himself in the car”… I ABOUT DIED!!!!  Long story short… we called 911 and in just a little bit of time a fire truck and two police officers and a company called “pop a lock” (I think that’s what it was called) arrived on the scene!!  They were able to get the car unlocked and little mr. C was awesome and happy!!!! That is definitely a session I will NEVER forget!!!!! 🙂 🙂

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]

Anna & Ramsey reached out a few months prior to their wedding day to see if I was available for their intimate wedding day in Highlands, NC at Old Edwards Inn. I was over the moon that I was available and that it would be the wedding that my 2025 wedding season ended with. The […]
