When we first got the phone call that Gary’s now employer wanted to fly him out to Spartanburg, SC for a job interview I of course freaked out because that meant moving across the country, AGAIN. I then contacted some of my closest and dearest friends and asked for prayers & asked if they knew ANYBODY that lived in the area because we thought we knew nobody, and that made this move even scarier!! Turns out I did know someone!!! My friend Jenn informed me that her roommate from PA School (whom I had met a few times when visiting Jenn in Charleston) lived in Spartanburg. SOOOOOOO me not being scared messaged Kathryn after all these years to say hello!! Boy am I glad I did because she has been able to pray with us and for us through this whole process. It was a process that we were keeping on the down low due to Kenzie & I being in Texas for a month and a half while Gary was in South Carolina… we’re I’m funny like that!! Back to Kathryn, She has been SUCH a blessing to be able to chat with and ask questions & recommendations & etc… she referred us to our amazing realtor & has just been so gracious and loving and I really don’t know how to thank her enough!!!
A few Friday’s ago I met up with Kathryn, Caleb & mr. W to take a few photos. Side note… mr. W is only a month younger than Kenzie… I can’t wait till our schedules all align and we get our families together because I think the two of them will have fun & us adults will have fun too (Gary happened to be with me at this session & afterwards if it wasn’t for us starving we probably could have sat in the parking lot and chatted for a lot longer)… back to this sweet family, because seriously they are the sweetest 🙂 … They met me at a park in Downtown, Spartanburg to take photos… I was nervous all day because it was looking like it could storm or rain, but thankfully it held off… we had lots of clouds but that didn’t stop us from having fun and taking photos!!!
Kathryn laughed at the fact that this little park is right next to a place her company holds different events and she’s never even seen it :)!! Love that I was able to introduce them to such a sweet little green area!!
This family is sooooooooo much fun to be around. mr. W is all over the place, HE LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES trucks 🙂 and I absolutely loved the challenge of capturing him & his sweet little personality. And ohhh my goodness I LOVED being around Kathryn & Caleb, their love for each other & for sweet mr. W is amazing and it shows in how they look at one another, love one another, and have OHHH soo much fun with one another!!!
Love that I saw Caleb with mr. W checking out what was in the fountain!!!
Kathryn & Caleb, thank y’all sooo much for getting in front of my camera!! I had a blast with you guys and I am soo soo excited to meet the newest member of y’alls family in November!! Kathryn, thank you for answering all my crazy questions for all these months 🙂 🙂 🙂
