I met Eli & Christine for the first time over the weekend of July 4th back in 2009!! I was in Charlotte visiting my best friend Melissa & she planned all sorts of fun activities while I was in town. One of those being Pops in the Park (I really hope that’s what it’s called)!! Well at pops we were meeting up with a few of her closest friends there in Charlotte… Christine happened to be one of them. I had heard about Christine quite often since her and Melissa both went to Appalachian State together but hadn’t had the chance to meet her… well I finally met her that weekend & also happened to meet her boyfriend Eli. I don’t think to two had been dating long but I remembered thinking then how well the two of them went together (and guess what… they go together amazingly!!!)!!!! Fast forward to just a few weekends ago and these two were meeting me in Spartanburg to take photos!!
Before heading downtown for the majority of their session we snapped a few photos in our backyard… I might just have to offer a few mini sessions here!!!!! 🙂

We then headed to downtown Spartanburg for the next part of the session…. and can I just say I LOVE DOWNTOWN SPARTANBURG!!!! I can not wait to photograph lots of families, seniors, and couples on these streets!!!
What makes this session soo fun… is that a week prior they celebrated their first year of marriage!!!! 🙂 🙂 (be on the lookout next week… because they may have gotten dressed in their wedding attire again 🙂 )!!!!!! These two were soooooo much fun to have in front of my camera!!!!! We may just have to do this again!! 😉
With me being in Texas I hadn’t really gotten to know Christine or Eli except from what I’d heard Melissa say or see via social media… BUT over the last year I’ve gotten to know Christine a lot more (and soo soo glad I have 🙂 ) due to Melissa getting married and us both being in the wedding party!! I have loved getting to know her & Eli (via chatting with Christine)… But then actually spending time with the two of them a few weeks ago was soo soo great… what’s even greater is that we live a little less than an hour away from one another. I am sooo excited to spend more time with these two!!!!! Thank y’all so much for letting me photograph the two of you, I LOVED it!!!
