I am sooo excited about these photos!! 1st off Jamie is one of my nearest and dearest friends, and 2ndly she tied the knot on Saturday so I can finally show off her bridal portraits!!!! 🙂 🙂
When Jamie first texted me a photo of her wedding dress I remember thinking “ohhhh I want to take her bridals”… so then when she asked me if I would, I SAID “YES!!!” Our first attempt at taking bridals was a washout, and we actually didn’t think we’d get to take her bridals before the wedding day. But late one Thursday she sent me a message saying “I don’t have to have my dress back till Saturday at 4pm, can we do them Saturday morning”… after a few phone calls to make sure Kenzie would have someone to watch her I said “YES” and then flipped to the weather and saw that it was supposed to rain the ENTIRE day before the session. So that entire Friday Jamie & I were going back and forth and finally decided on playing it all by ear. I woke up SUPER early to go check out the ground of the location, I knew Jamie was nervous about getting her dress dirty (as was I), but after seeing we could avoid puddles and mud I let her know that we were a go… I was still nervous due to all the clouds and chance of rain at that moment but I knew if we didn’t try it we wouldn’t have another chance. Other than it being FREEZING due to a cold front coming through AND crazy hurricane like winds 😉 that morning turned out to be a perfect morning for her bridal session. Jamie was awesome and her mom was even more awesome for all the help during the shoot!!!!
Jamie is such a beauty, not only inside, but also on the outside. She is one of the nicest, sincerest, loving, real, true, and sincere people I’ve ever known. Our paths first crossed in July of 2010 and since then she’s become one of my nearest & dearest friends and I am soo thankful that God placed her in my life. This girl makes me laugh, smile, encourages, prays, and is just there for me and I don’t know how to thank her enough for all those things and her friendship. Jamie, I am so happy for you!!!
