B family session… {Katy, TX – Family Photographer}

I was so excited when Jan told me that they wanted to do family photos!!!  I have known Jan for almost the entire time I’ve lived in Texas and I love her and her family so much.  Jan & I worked together at the church and there wasn’t a day that she was in the office when I didn’t laugh with her (she is hilarious and just thinking about her and her randomness makes me giggle and really miss it during my workday!!) Jan is someone I know I can call at any time day or night if I needed anything and she would be there for me in a heartbeat… she is an amazing friend… she has prayed with me, cried with me, gotten mad with me, and laughed with me.  I am so blessed to have her in my life!!!  Jan thank you for your love and support and for always being there with a shoulder when I have needed it… thank you for the smiles, the white hot chocolates :), and the hugs (even though you know I hate hugs.. you always know when I need one!!).  Thank you for loving Kenzie the way you do… I can’t wait for her to get to know her “auntie Jan” as you have now named yourself ;).  I have a feeling the two of you will have a few starbucks dates ;)!!  Jim & Jan… it has been an honor to photograph your awesome kids for the last few years… from senior photos, proms, yell leader, to college senior photos… I’ve loved having y’alls kids in front of my camera… but more than having them in front of my camera, I’ve loved seeing you two over on the side smiling and being so VERY proud of all three of them.  Brett, Leslie, & Andrew… you three are amazing and I have loved getting to know y’all over the years.  I have loved laughing with you and meeting your friends and being part of your lives!!  Thank you for y’alls friendships!!!  Thank you five for making me feel like part of your family.  Thank you for wanting me to photograph your family!!!  I loved loved loved spending the evening with you guys back in December!!!  Here are a few photos from their session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
