Morgan… {Katy, TX – Portrait Photographer}

I was so excited when I found out that Morgan used to do pointe.  I have had this idea to do a ballet session in an urban setting for quite some time… I just had to find a dancer that was up for doing this type of session.  You may remember Morgan from her family session a few months back… well I mentioned to Morgan what I was wanting to do and she said she would love to do it 🙂 so a few weeks later, and one hot July evening… we headed to a parking garage and took some photos :)!!

Morgan is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.  She has a smile that will light up the room, she is kind, considerate, loving, loyal, and loves God with her whole heart.  It was an absolute treat to spend the evening with Morgan & her mom!!  Thank you so much for trusting me with this session & for being willing to help make my idea a reality!!  Good luck up in Austin & please don’t be a stranger when you’re home!!!

Here’s a few photos from our session…

Some of my favorite photographs from a wedding weekend are taken with everyone in khakis. I’ve been thinking about that lately. After almost twenty years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that the moments my couples come back to years later are not always the ones you would expect.  The first look matters. The vows matter. […]

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]
