Emily & Matt tie the knot part i… {Katy, TX – Wedding Photographer}

Emily & Matt tied the knot on 6.25.2011 at Grace Fellowship UMC, in Katy, TX.  The reception was held at the Omni in Katy.

These two are absolutely perfect for one another.  They compliment each other in so many ways, and I LOVE seeing the two of them together.  Over the last year I have had so much fun getting to know both of them and I can’t wait to hopefully get to know them better and better!!  You two love each other so much and you can see it in the smallest glances that you might give to one another.  Y’all love with your whole hearts, have a blast together, and love to just be together.  I wish you guys nothing but the best!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening your lives to me and my camera.  Emily, I sooo feel like I’m part of your family… your mom, dad, and sister are amazing!!  Thank you all for welcoming me with open arms!

I had so much fun watching you guys say “I do”, and then celebrating the two of you at the reception.  I love that you guys aren’t just my clients, y’all are my friends and I’m so glad that last year you all walked into my office.  Enjoy being married and have so much fun with one another!!

I’m going to do another post later this week with a few more photos from the wedding, but here’s quite a few from Matt & Emily’s big day…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I photographed a wedding at a private estate two years ago where hair and makeup ran behind. We went from having an hour and a half for all of the portraits to having thirty minutes, and that thirty minutes still had to cover the bride and groom, the wedding party, and both families. While we […]

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

Bridal portraits are a very southern tradition and one that I love and will always get behind (even if it means we’re adding additional time on the wedding day to make sure we walk away with more than a few)!! My biggest piece of advice if you’re going to do a bridal portrait session is […]
