2010 Christmas…

So I’m a little behind on posting this blog, but I was finally able to get caught up and get these photos ready to blog… Here’s my disclaimer… these photos were taken in a gymnasium so the lighting is horrible and they aren’t my best work… BUT they are of people I love and that’s what this blog is about 🙂 so that’s all that matters!!!

This was the first Christmas Eve that our church (The River UMC) was able to meet in our regular meeting space for our Christmas Eve service… and it was great!!!  It was wonderful to be with family and friends and celebrate our Savior’s birth.  God has blessed me in so many ways… I have an amazing family, incredible friends and an awesome church family (and church)…  I am just so thankful for the many people that God has placed in my life.  He has surrounded me with friends near and far, and with family that loves and supports me in everything…

One of the special things that happened that night was the dedication of my friend Meagan’s twins (whom you’ll probably recognize).  It was such a special time for that family and I am so happy that I was able to be part of this special day for them. Meagan I love you guys and I can not believe it’s almost been almost 8 months since these precious miracles arrived!! Here are a few pictures from the dedication and then of their family after the service…

Here’s another one of my dear friends and her little girl!!  Melanie, you are such an amazing friend and I am so thankful for the words of encouragement and love that you give me.  I’ve missed our Friday walks… can we start those up again soon :).  Love you very much!!!

Now here’s my family…. we had about 15 photos taken of us and this is the only one where almost all of us are looking 🙂  It was great to have Nana and Cara here for Christmas!!! Love you y’all!!!

CHRISTMAS DAY 2010…. This year was awesome, everything was very low key and we just hung out and I loved every minute of it.  Here’s a few shots from our morning…

Cara keeps trying to steal my dog from me!!!

Nana, might kill me but I thought this was a cute photo of her 🙂 LOVE YOU NANA!!!

Cara headed back to NC the day after Christmas but Nana stayed with me for another week :)… we did lots of traveling and just hanging out and I LOVED IT!!!!  Here’s a few photos of Nana on a very windy day down at the beach :)…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

You know that warm, fuzzy feeling when you walk into a room and spot a familiar face? That sense of ease and comfort? Well, that’s what I aim to create every time I work with a couple or collaborate with fellow wedding professionals. I’m a big believer in the power of genuine connections, and I’ve […]

Imagine this: you and your partner, standing in a place that holds a special meaning, with a gentle breeze rustling through your hair. The two of you are laughing, maybe a little nervous at first, but gradually, you start to relax. That’s when the magic happens—the connection, the love, the story you’re writing together. This […]

In February I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful editorial at Lowndes Grove which is in Charleston, SC. The venue is nestled in the back of a neighborhood on the river and it is incredible. There are so many amazing locations inside the house as well as outside to photograph weddings and portraits and […]
