Paik family Christmas photos… {Katy, TX – Family Photographer}

I love when I get the chance to photograph clients multiple times in a year.  Amy was pregnant when we did their family photos back in March and then Lauren was just a few days old when we did her newborn session, so it was a blast to have Lauren alert for this session.  Amy had told me a few weeks ago that she wanted to do a session with their Christmas pj’s!!  I had no idea what I was in for :)… we started the session out with everyday garb and grabbed a few photos by the tree and then outside because the day was BEAUTIFUL.  We then made our way back inside where all four of them, and even their dog put on their pj’s.  I have to say that I died when I saw them (they were ADORABLE and I LOVED THEM!!!!).  Amy, I love your creativity and spirit… and your family is ohh so amazing!  Thank you for calling me up again this year to photograph you guys, y’all were a lot of fun!!!  Here’s a few photos from the session...

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]
