Gary & I…

At the beginning of October Gary and I were able to meet up with his parents a little north of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for a week of vacation.  That area of Mexico is soo beautiful with it’s Crystal blue water, white sand beaches, ancient Mayan ruins and its amazing culture.  Sure we could have gone to a beach in Florida and gotten the blue water and white sand beaches, but there’s something about Mexico that I love… it’s the people and the culture and the way of life that just draws me in.  If you’ve never been to Mexico… go if you get the opportunity… if for no other reason, but to experience another way of life.  Anyways, we spent most of the days on the beach or by the pool… Gary studying and working on a research paper and I read 4 books 🙂 and we spent time with his family.  Hopefully I will be able to get a few pictures up that I took of the beaches soon, but here are a few pictures that were taken of Gary and I by a photographer down in Mexico.  All I have to say is that I HATE to be in front of the camera… but I’m showing you these b/c they are fun and they completely show who we are as a couple…

That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]

Greenville, you’ve been a beautiful backdrop—but lately, I’ve fallen hard for something else: private estate weddings. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot somewhere that’s more your world than a checklist, a family home‑turned‑wedding‑day‑stage is where the real magic happens. Why private estates feel so right Authentic comfort from beginning to end It’s your space. […]
