Jenn & Ben tie the knot… {Wedding Photographer}

Jenn and Ben said I do a little over a month ago and it was so sweet.  These two are head over heals for one another, so it was a privilege to stand beside Jenn and be her MOH as they said their vows to one another.  It’s funny because while planning the wedding Jenn kept putting off hiring a photographer, she would say things like “you can do both cant you?!” … and my response would be “ummm, well I could try but there are certain aspects.. i.e. THE CEREMONY that I wouldn’t be able to photograph considering I’d be right next to you!!”… so finally Jenn asked a girl she went to high school with to photograph the day for her, but she still wanted me to bring my camera with me (and if you know me well enough then that’s a no brainer!!)… I wasn’t able to get a whole lot of pictures but I was able to capture a few and was even able to steal Jenn and Ben away from everyone for literally 2 mins.

Ben and Jenn I am so incredibly happy for the two of you, thank you for letting me stand up there with you two and be part of that important day, and thank you also for wanting me to also capture bits and pieces of your day.  I love you two very much!!!

Here’s a few shots I was able to capture amongst the running here and there…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

One of the most common questions I get—right after “What’s your favorite wedding venue?”—is “How do you balance being a mom and running a photography business?” The truth? Some days, it’s a well-oiled machine. Other days, it’s organized chaos. But it’s always full of love, creativity, and a whole lot of carline coffee.  Being a […]

Meredith & Marc had an amazing weekend in October in Highlands, NC. They were surrounded by their family and friends from start to finish and it was an amazing weekend to document. Their Friday included a bridal brunch, golf and rehearsal at The Farm at Old Edwards before everyone headed downtown Highlands for the rehearsal […]

When it comes to capturing beautiful moments, having the perfect backdrop can make all the difference. Luckily, Spartanburg, SC, offers so many gorgeous locations for photo sessions, from lush natural landscapes to historic campuses and charming downtown streets. Whether you’re planning engagement photos, family portraits, or celebrating a milestone, here are some of my favorite […]
