Jenn & Ben (a little warmer engagement session)… {Wilmington, NC, Engagement Photographer}

Back in December Jenn and Ben got engaged and I just happened to be in the same NC in the same city a few days after it happened.  I was so excited to get to take their engagement photos and fell in love with so many of them.  A few weekends ago I flew into Wilmington again to take Jenn’s bridal portraits.  Well while I was there Ben decided to visit as well so that we could get a few more photos of the two of them in more summery attire.  We had originally planned to take the photos down on the beach  b/c Jenn is a complete beach bum, but the we got hit by an early evening thunderstorm… so we went back into town and went onto UNC-Wilmington’s campus (GO SEAHAWKS!!!)… Jenn and I both graduated from UNCW so it was neat to be back on campus and shooting their session there.  We went straight to Randall Library b/c there is a wrap around covered area around the entire building that happened to let in the most perfect light!!  Here’s a few shoots from our very humid, hot and dodging the rain session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

The vows matter. […]

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]
