:) I love shooting portraits of friends…

Melanie was actually one of the people that talked me into doing bluebonnet photos, she’s actually the one that helped me scout our awesome location… so the phone call to her was the worst!!  🙂 The awesome thing about Melanie is that she turns lemons into lemonade… she’s the one that made me decide to still shoot on my bluebonnet day w/out my bluebonnets and reminded me that we still have next year :)!!

I always have a lot of fun with Melanie’s beautiful family so I was excited to finally get to photograph them.  They even brought along their awesome boxer!!  Thank y’all for allowing me to capture y’all in such a real way.  The three of you ooze with love for one another and I love it and I hope I captured that (even if it’s in the slightest bit of how much you really do love one another).

Melanie, Thank you also for supporting me and encouraging me in everything that I do. You are an awesome friend and I am so thankful that you are in my life!

Here’s a few shots from the session…

That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
