Greenville Photographer | Spartanburg Photographer | Q&A with Kendra

Kendra Martin Photography | Greenville Photographer | Spartanburg Photograer

Hi!!! I hope everyone is having an amazing week!!!! It’s been a little while since I did a Q&A blog post but I wanted to do another one today because recently I’ve been asked the 3 question s a lot!!! So here we go :)!!

Kendra Martin Photography | Greenville SC Wedding Photographer | Spartanburg SC Wedding PhotographerWhere am I located? Great question, I am located in the upstate of South Carolina. I didn’t know there was such a thing as the upstate until I moved here from Texas last summer. But there is, and it’s beautiful and it’s where we live!! More specifically we are in the Spartanburg area and we love it!!

Do you travel? Short answer to that… YES!!!! I LOVE to travel… whether that be up the road to Gaffney, Charlotte, Asheville, or down the road to Greenville, Charleston or Atlanta… or to an entirely different state or country or city. Yes I travel and love it!!  Long answer is that for weddings my collections include 30 miles of travel from Spartanburg. My sessions happen in and around the Spartanburg area. With that being said I am more than willing to travel wherever, depending on where you are will depend on the travel fee. But I absolutely love to travel for photography!!

Are you still traveling back to Texas for weddings and/or sessions? YES!!!! I am still booking sessions and weddings in Texas (specifically the Houston area). I have family and friends that are in Texas so going back is something I love to do and want to do more of!! So if you’re a bride in Texas (or wherever) please contact me so we can discuss having me head back down to document your wedding day… it would be a complete honor!!

Speaking of sessions in Texas… I will be back June 5-7th for a super quick trip and have the ability to photograph 1-2 sessions while I’m there. I will be back again in either August or September (it’ll depend on when my nephew decides he wants to arrive and when we can make it… we’ll know in the next month or so when I’ll be there) but I will be there for hopefully a good bit of time and photographing sessions while I’m there. So if you are in the Houston area & you’re interested in a session either in June or August/September contact me soon to get on my calendar, because for both trips I will limit the number of sessions I take!!! I am soo looking forward to being back in the sweltering Texas heat…. NOT!!!! 🙂 Right now I’ll just enjoy South Carolina’s amazing weather!!!!

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
