16 Years

Can you believe we’ve been married for 16 years because I sure can’t!!! This year has been a sweet one and one of our more low key years of marriage. Year 15 included lots of traveling together for photography and family trips.. this year… it was doing day to day life alongside one another and our little family and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!!

I wrote that we didn’t travel this year and then I remembered… ohh yeah we did!! 🙂 🙂 We didn’t do any traveling just the two of us… but as a family we explored the big apple, we spent some time in the low country & the mountains here and there… but a lot of time has been spent shuffling two little girls to ballet, me photographing weddings & sessions, you working on your doctorate and “almost” finishing up all of our house projects (y’all we are so close to being “done”!!!)!!

We’ve spent a lot of evenings this year either walking around our neighborhood or sipping humms while watching our favorite shows… and probably some of my favorite times with you have been while sitting on our porch sipping coffee on weekend mornings… During those times we have had so much fun dreaming, planning, thinking back and just talking about all the things and I have loved it.

Thank you for being my person and my best friend. Thank you for listening, dreaming with me, supporting me, and loving me. Thank you even for calling me out when I need calling out. Thank you for letting me put up with you 😉 for the last 16 years of marriage!! I love you and I’m just so thankful for you and this life we have (all of it.. the beautiful, the hard and everything in between!!)

Happy Anniversary!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
