Emily & Tread Downtown Greenville Wedding | The Poinsett Club

Emily & Tread were married on a VERY VERY VERY cold & windy March Saturday. And I have to start this post off by giving them so much praise for dealing with the cold & wind during portrait time!! Y’all were troopers and I can’t thank you enough for just going with it. Not only y’all… but your wedding party & families as well!!! Gosh y’all have an amazing group of people around you. It was so much fun to meet everyone!!!

From the moment I walked into the getting ready suite and said hello to Emily, to then greeting her super sweet parents, to saying hello to Tread when he arrived at the club… they were ALL smiles and those smiles were contagious!! Emily & Tread were ready to get married and did so in front of so many people that love them and support them. They then got to celebrate with everyone and it was a blast!!!! From the moment I left the reception after Emily & Tread drove away I have been itching to share their wedding day!!! Here are a just a few of my favorites from their day!!

Emily & Tread, thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your wedding day. It was an honor and a joy!!! I am so excited for you two and I can’t wait to see how God uses you two and your marriage!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

There’s a reason people plan entire weekends around being in Highlands in October. The weather cools down, the leaves start changing, and suddenly a drive you’ve made a dozen times takes twice as long because everyone in the car wants to stop and look at the view. I’ve photographed quite a few Highlands, North Carolina […]

I photographed a wedding at a private estate two years ago where hair and makeup ran behind. We went from having an hour and a half for all of the portraits to having thirty minutes, and that thirty minutes still had to cover the bride and groom, the wedding party, and both families. While we […]

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]
