Almost a year ago Alyssa first reached out to me about photographing her and Kevin’s May 2022 wedding day. I say May because originally they were getting married on May 21, 2022. Well things changed for their venue in the fall and thankful ALL of their wedding team was available on February 26, 2022 and y’all it was the best day!! I’m so glad that today I’m not sending out their “day of email” but I get to send out their wedding blog and full gallery as soon as it’s done uploading!!! I know the change of date was not something either Alyssa or Kevin planned for… but y’all these two handled the moving up of their wedding by almost three months with beauty and grace and it was an honor to document their wedding day.
When I first talked to Alyssa & Kevin they were telling me about what they were envisioning their day to look like and be like and those that would be with them for the day and I remember thinking “this is going to be such a beautiful day” and y’all it was!!! From the moment I saw both of them they were surrounded by their siblings and parents and it was so sweet to see the way their families dote on the two of them. The way they love them, support them and have rallied beside them. Once the ceremony time came…. well in came a full venue of family & friends from all over the country that love them!!! Y’all, it was so much fun to experience Alyssa & Kevin’s wedding day first hand!!! I am so excited to share just a snipet of their day with y’all!!!
Alyssa & Kevin… y’alls love for one another was evident from before I even started documenting your wedding day. The way y’all look out for one another, to the way y’all look at one another and then were never more than a few feet apart your entire day. To the way you hold hands, hug, cry and laugh with one another. It was an honor to witness & document your first day of marriage. I am soo looking forward to watching y’all explore and do married life together!!!
