Abby & Ben Maternity Session | Spartanburg Photographer

Almost six years ago Abby & Ben came into my life and it has been such a joy to watch them go from engaged, to married, to now becoming mom & dad!! Ben’s job moved them to the northeast but back in October they were back in the upstate for a weekend and asked me if I’d be available to take maternity photos for them on a certain afternoon and I was just soooo giddy that I just happened to be photographing a few sessions back to back that day and would be able to make it happen!! I was in the middle of another session when they arrived but as I walked… QUICKLY over to them when I was done with that session tears filled my eyes and continued to do so throughout their whole session. Shoot I’m not kidding anyone. I cried when I culled, edited and again now that I’m writing this. These two mean so much to me and I adore them!!! But more than that… I am sooo incredibly excited for them and can’t wait to see them be mom and dad because they are going to rock it!!! Ben & Abby are two of the most joyful, loving and kindest human beings and I am just tickled that I got to have them back in front of my camera for these photos!!! Thank y’all for trusting me 6 years ago with documenting your wedding season and now with documenting your growing family!!!!!! Here are a few of my favorite images from your maternity session at Milliken Arboretum!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! One of my favorite things to do is share my clients’ images!! It gives you a look at the kind of images you will receive if you hire me to be your photographer.  If you would like to see what a full session or wedding looks like, please feel free to ask!

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
