I am sooo excited to share these images with you all today!! Valyn & Jon tied the knot on Saturday so yay I can now share!!! I have been looking forward to Valyn’s bridal portraits since the beginning of the year. She knew early on that she wanted to do the session in the Furman Rose Garden, and y’all it didn’t disappoint. There was a pretty significant chance of rain all week and even on the day of the session but other than a few rain drops during the session it was a beautiful Greenville evening!! Valyn is one of the sweetest, kindest, and beautiful women you’ll ever meet. She is funny & I love her laugh and I have absoultely loved getting to know her this year and I am so excited to keep getting to know her!! When she walked out in her dress for the photos I gasped, it is an AMAZING dress and it’s the perfect dress for her. From the beautiful bodice to the chiffon skirt … ohhh my gosh I am sooo stinking in love. I’m not going to lie, I want to steal it from her and wear it it just for fun because I love it!!! Valyn, I am soo soo glad you wanted to take bridal photos. One of the things that excites me about being back on the East Coast/South… is that brides still want to have that traditional bridal portrait up on their wedding day… I grew up in the south and I too wanted that portrait… wanted that bridal session… it was such a fun/special day for me and I get all excited when brides tell me they want to do it as well!! Sure I’ll take a few bridal portraits the day of the wedding (even if we’re crunched on time I make sure these happen) but an actual bridal session allows for TONS of beautiful images of JUST the bride… before the craziness & awesomeness of her wedding day… AND it gives the bride a chance to trial run hair, makeup, and usually flowers… I love these sessions soo soo much!!!! So yep… Valyn you made me a happy girl and happy photographer when you told me you wanted to do this!!! I had so much fun with your family & am soo thankful for their help that afternoon!!! Now I can’t wait to share all your wedding photos with everyone… but for now, I get to share your beautiful bridal portraits!
