The Best Highland NC Wedding Venues

Highlands, NC is home to a diverse selection of wedding venues, each offering its own unique charm and style. Whether you’re dreaming of a rustic wedding or an elegant garden ceremony, you’re sure to find the perfect venue to bring your vision to life. Let’s take a closer look at some of the best Highlands, NC wedding venues:

Old Edwards Inn

This is one of my absolute favorite venues in Highlands, and they have multiple locations you can get married at.

The Farm: The Orchard House, Barn, and Pavilion

The Farm at Old Edwards Inn is the renowned private off-site wedding venue. This is for couples looking for a rustic and romantic setting, The Farm itself is a dream come true. Nestled amidst rolling hills and picturesque meadows. There are also a few other smaller options: a charming barn with rustic yet elegant interiors, the Pavilion- a beautiful indoor/outdoor area surrounded by lush gardens, and a newer venue- The Orchard House, with massive glass doors that open to a lush garden. The Farm also provides farm-to-table catering, ensuring that your wedding menu is as delicious as it is memorable.

Half Mile Farm

If you’re searching for a charming and intimate wedding venue, look no further than Half Mile Farm. Also part of Old Edwards Inn, this historic inn and event venue exudes Southern charm and offers a peaceful, Napa-style retreat for you and your guests. With its beautifully landscaped gardens, cozy guest rooms, and a picturesque lake, Half Mile Farm provides a romantic and idyllic setting for your wedding celebration.

The Chattooga Club

Situated in the scenic Cashiers Valley, The Chattooga Club is a private mountain club that offers a serene and exclusive wedding experience. Surrounded by lush forests and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, this venue features a rustic clubhouse with a stone fireplace and a spacious outdoor terrace.

Rockwood Lodge

Ok have you SEEN Rockwood Lodge? {heart-eyes} The entire lodge (“lodge” is a loose-term here, by the way… it’s more of an…estate) is designed in Adirondack style with wood and stone. It’s nestled on acres of gardens and land with an incredible view of the mountains. Honestly? It looks like someone dropped it right in the middle of rolling hills. You can get married on the lawn and host your cocktail hour inside, while having your reception under a tent (always playing it safe with the weather!). Gorgeous is an understatement.

Lonesome Valley

If you know anything about the Highlands area, you probably know about Lonesome Valley. It’s about 20 minutes from Highland in Cashiers, NC. You can get married with the largest box canyon east of the Mississippi showing off behind you. You and your guests can enjoy cuisine from the well-known Canyon Kitchen, where the Chef will work with you to create a custom menu. It’s luxury. It’s exclusive. And wedding availability is limited, so be sure to reach out as soon as possible.
