Callie & Taylor | Huntsville, AL Wedding at The Ledges - Kendra Martin Photography

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to Huntsville, Alabama to document Callie & Taylor’s wedding day!! I first chatted with Callie & Taylor over facetime the summer or 2022 and from the moment we started talking I couldn’t wait to work with them. BOTH Callie & Taylor are filled with so much joy and love and it’s evident through their emails, texts, calls and 100% in how they interact with every single person they come into contact with. To know them is to know that love and joy and gosh it’s infectious!! Callie & Taylor each have smiles that can light up a room so put them together and it’s a lot of smiling and I LOVE IT!!!

In the fall of 2022 I met up with the two of them at Biltmore Estate for their engagement session. We had so much fun. Click that link to take a look at these two and then come back to see their wedding day!! I knew after their engagement session that we were going to have so much fun in March… and we did!! From the moment we stepped foot in Callie’s parents house we were surrounded by so much love and joy and worship music filled the air!! It was beautiful and I’m pretty sure I cried while photographing their details because it was such a sweet day.

Callie was surrounded by an incredible group of women from different parts of her life and it was an honor to capture her with those friends and family members all day. These women loved on her, supported her and celebrated her well!! As I was photographing the details I had the door open and I could hear the guys (who were outside hanging out) and y’all they were having such a fun time. They were laughing and reminiscing and it was so fun to listen to!!! Callie & Taylor, can we do it again?!?!

After both Callie & Taylor got ready we headed to The Ledges Club House where Callie got a quick peek at the reception space before heading to do a first look with Taylor!! CUE THE TEARS!!! I don’t think I can put into words how everyone watching felt when these two saw each other for the first time. I’m just going to let you see it for yourself and say.. it was beautiful!!!

After time together the wedding party and family had fun taking portraits before heading into downtown Huntsville, Alabama to get these two married!! They were married at the same church Callie’s mom and dad were married… and if I’m remembering correctly (Callie please call me and tell me if I’m wrong).. where one of Callie’s parents were also married.. or maybe it was just where they have gone to church their entire lives. Either way… the service was incredible to witness and document and the history for Callie & her family that was in that church and then they got to add to on that March day was super special!!

After these two were married we headed back to The Ledges to celebrate!!!!!
