Biltmore Engagement Session | Laura & Alan

Biltmore House Engagement

I started August off photographing Laura & Alan at the Biltmore House for a styled engagement session. Over the summer I got an idea in my head and was chatting with Laura about it and we made it a reality and y’all I can’t stop smiling!! Not only smiling at what we walked away with and the fact that this shoot happened but more than anything at how stinking in love Laura & Alan are and that it CLEARLY comes through in these images and that’s what makes me the happiest when I look through these.

I have spent HOURS with Laura :)!! Her and her sister are often with me at weddings and so over the last two years I’ve gotten to know her pretty well. It wasn’t until July that I finally got to meet Alan in person… when we did the Biltmore engagement session it was only the second time I’d been with him.. but y’all I feel like I’ve known him for just as long as I’ve known Laura and we all had soo much fun during this session.

Laura & Alan have been dating since high school and recently got engaged and are currently planning their 2023 wedding day. These two are so much fun to be around and I love seeing how happy they make one another. Laura & Alan, thank y’all for an amazing afternoon/Evening at Biltmore!! I LOVED every single second of our time together (even driving around in circles (aka getting lost) on the way home LOL because gps doesn’t know where closed roads are!!) that day was so fun and I’m so glad I got to know y’all even better!!! Here are a few of my favorites (and I say “few” lightly because it’s A LOT!!) from Laura & Alan’s Biltmore engagement session.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! One of my favorite things to do is share my clients’ images!! It gives you a look at the kind of images you will receive if you hire me to be your photographer.  If you would like to see what a full session or wedding looks like, please feel free to ask!

If you are interested in having me as your Wedding or Portrait Photographer, please fill out this form and I will get back to you with all of my information.  For a quick glimpse of who I am click here.  If you’re ready to book your wedding or session go ahead and click on the contact button above or email me at kendramartinphotography@gmail.com.

I am currently booking 2023 & 2024 Weddings.  I take a limited number of weddings & sessions each year so that I can focus on giving my clients the best possible experience & so I can spend time with my sweet family.  I love what I do & I am looking forward to chatting with you!!

A huge shout out to all the vendors that made this afternoon a reality!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
