I first “met” Mary almost 5 years ago when she reached out to me about photographing her oldest sisters wedding!! I then officially met her at Madison & Harrison’s wedding in July of 2017 and there’s no telling what was going through her head when I walked through the door with one arm in a sling! That’s another story for another day. All I know is that Mary and her entire family were sooo entirely sweet to me and I remember leaving Madison & Harrison’s wedding and thinking ” I really hope I get to photograph their family more!!”. Fast forward to July of 2020 and Mary reached out to me about second shooting with me!! Since then she’s been at a handful of weddings with me and it has been a joy to get to know her and have her alongside of me at weddings. When Mary & Adam started planning their wedding they reached out to me to photograph their engagement photos and y’all I SQUEALED OUT LOUD when I received the email!! I couldn’t contain my excitement to now have Mary in front of my camera and not just beside me!!
In May on an incredibly beautiful Friday evening I met up with Adam & Mary in downtown Spartanburg for then engagement session and y’all my mouth hurt from smiling so much with these two!! From their fun outfits to the way they love one another and laugh with one another and just are I couldn’t (and still can’t) stop smiling as I was taking, editing and now blogging these images!! These two have so much fun together and I am so excited for them and seeing them be married!!! Here are a few (and it’s not a few because I couldn’t narrow it down) of my favorite images from their engagement session!!
