Couples

Ryan & Kyle | Spartanburg Photographer | Kendra Martin Photography

There are times in my business where I need to try out new things or practice with gear. I’m not one that likes to “play” with anything new during a paid session or at a wedding…. so I will enlist the help from past clients and friends so that I can play around and try new things and know that whatever we walk away with image wise is totally ok because we’re getting to have fun and I get to work & grow as a photographer and then they walk away with however many images they walk away with. A few weeks ago I asked my friend/past client Ryan if I could get her and her boyfriend in front of my camera so I could play with a lens I don’t use very much. I don’t use it because it’s a tad different than my go to lenses and I am just not comfortable enough with it to pull it out during paid sessions/weddings…. and I really want to use it more!!! So Ryan & Kyle met me in downtown Spartanburg for a fun little session and y’all I am soo excited to share their images!!!

Can I just say that these two are so sweet and Kyle thank you for being willing to come along to play I can’t thank you enough for helping me out and letting me get to know the two of you as a couple!! From the way they smile at each other to the way they talk about and hug one another… y’all I was squealing during the session! Thank you two so much for letting me play and at the same time be able to document you two and the love you have for one another!! Here are a few of my favorites from the session!!

I am currently booking Spring 2019 Sessions – 2020 Weddings.  I take a very limited number of weddings & sessions each year (I am only taking on a handful more for 2019) so that I can focus on giving my clients the best possible experience & so I can spend time with my sweet family.  I love what I do & I am looking forward to chatting with you & documenting your sweet memories

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
