I think the hardest part about photographing weddings are the blog posts!! For me it means that the wedding is over, the images are edited and about to be in the hands of my clients and so my communication and interaction with them slows down and that makes me soo sad because I LOVE my clients so much!! Thankfully I do keep in touch with them and love when I get to see them again whether in front of my camera, out and about randomly, or because we want to catch up… but when I know my clients end up moving states away I know my chances of just bumping into them are slim and that makes me heart sad… but gosh am I soo soo honored and thankful for them and for the opportunity to document this sweet time in their lives!!!
Cara & Nick are one of those couples that now live STATES away!! It has been soo much fun to get to know them over the last almost year & a half and I am soo excited for them!! Orriginally they were going to have their wedding at a different venue but then sometime this spring Cara contacted and asked if I was still available the night before their original date because they were needing to switch venues and sure enough I was!! So a few Friday’s ago walked into the airBNB that Cara & her bridesmaids were getting ready at in Greenville and hugged her and started documenting her day!! Cara is sooo laid back and easy and y’all I have loved getting to see her do the planning for her & Nick’s wedding!! She did an amazing job and even on her wedding day she was busy helping others with things because that’s the way she is!! She puts others before herself and I look up to her and respect her so much for that!! Cara & Nick got married & then celebrated at The Upper Room in Greenville!! It’s such a quaint venue and I love that it has both an indoor space and a rooftop space!! These two didn’t see each other prior to the ceremony and y’all they were both so sweet when they saw each other. Gosh they were sweet the entire ceremony!! Nick & Cara wrote their own vows and had each other (and their guests) crying!! I love how much these two love each other and I am soo soo excited that they no longer have to do the long distance thing!!! Cara & Nick, thank y’all so much for wanting me to photograph your wedding day!! I love you guys so much and I can’t wait to see how God uses your marriage!!! PLEASE let me know when y’all are in town because I would LOVE to hug y’alls necks!!! Here are a few of my favorite images from Cara & Nick’s wedding day!!
