Y’all know that I love documenting engagements & bridals & weddings… but I think I have an even more favorite thing to document!!!!  A couple that is MARRIED!!!  Sure when you’re engaged and on your wedding day you’re all about one another and you love each other.  But y’all… put a couple in front of a camera that’s been married ANY length of time and I can’t really form the right words… but there is something special that happens when a married couple steps in front of my camera!! I’d like to say that all their jitters about having their photos taken have gone away, but I know first hand that people get nervous… it’s like there’s an “at ease” and comfort they have as husband & wife and gosh I LOVE documenting that!!!

I really do love documenting love & life at ALL stages but I would say these sessions of couples after being married are ranking VERY high on my favorite things to document right this second!! So if you’ve thought about having anniversary or “just because” photos taken with your husband or wife… DO IT!!!!  It’s a fun reason to get dressed up and then make a date of it!!!  Get a babysitter and leave the kiddos at home!! I promise sessions w/out your kids are SOO much more fun than with them :)… Yes, I did just say that!! I stress so much more about how my girls are going to behave than when it’s just Gary & I!!

I met up with Taylor & Josh a few Friday’s ago to do a couples session with them!! They’ve been married for a little over 4 years but together for quite some time 😉 and y’all!!!  They were SOOO much fun!!!  I think we did a lot of smiling and laughing and there might have been a few good tears that happened as well!!  I LOVED getting to know these two and document their love at this stage in their marriage!!
