Emily & Christopher wrote each other letters that they both read prior to the ceremony and y’all the emotions that BOTH of them had over the words they had written to one another was the sweetest!!  I knew that if emotions were flowing during card reading that when they saw each other in the chapel for the first time the emotions would really be going!!  Emily was BEAMING as she walked through the doors of Daniel Chapel… and Christopher… well he went from smiling, to crying and then back to smiling and those same emotions were being experienced by everyone in the chapel that day!!  Emily & Christopher wrote their vows to one another & they were so sweet, as were the stolen glances and smiles they gave to each other the entire ceremony!! And y’all to cop the ceremony off they shared the sweetest first kiss followed by lots of excitement!!  It has been so much fun to re-live August 4th over and over again as I’ve worked on these images!!

To know Emily & Christopher as a couple is to know joy, love & support!!!  These two are crazy about one another and have soo much fun together!!  When you’re with them you smile and laugh and then when you leave them you hug and just know that these are your people!!!  Y’all it was a HOT Saturday afternoon and I’m super thankful that most of our day was inside 🙂 but the way their family & friends loved on them and supported them and just had fun even in the heat made me smile!!  The way Emily & Christopher love their family and friends is something I will never forget!! The way they included them in all aspects of the day and then the way they all wanted to be part of the day was fun & special to see!!  The way Emily & Christopher included the most intricate of details into their day made their wedding day soo special and y’all it was sooo soo beautiful!!!  Christopher & Emily… y’alls attention to the details… it was all so beautiful and it was such an honor to document!!! Emily from your gown, to your BLUE shoes, to the something old’s, to the letters & vows you and Christopher wrote to one another, to the details with florals & design ALL day, to the dances with those that are closest to you!!!  I think more than the details and the family and friends and the fun everyone had and how beautiful it all was…. THE LOVE YOU TWO HAVE FOR EACH OTHER (yes I screamed it)… ohh my goodness!!! I can’t explain it or describe it adequately!!  The way y’all light up when you’re with each other.  The way y’all just go together seamlessly!!  It has been such a joy to document & capture y’alls love!!  And because I could write a book I’m going to stop myself… here are a few of my favorite images from Emily & Christopher’s wedding day!!

Emily & Christopher, thank y’all soo much for wanting me to document this special time in your lives!! Can you please NOT have to live in the D.C :)!!!  I am soo soo happy for you two!!! I can’t wait to hear all about married life and y’alls trip to Italy!!!!
