Maddison was seconds away from locking eyes with Mark for the first time when Mark’s brother placed his hand on Mark’s back.  Y’all if Mark wasn’t already feeling all the feels the look on his face as his brother did that & he saw his bride for the first time was soo incredibly sweet!!!  These two were SOOOO excited to get married!!!  Mark & Maddison are both from large families so their siblings and families played a HUGE role in their wedding day and with that came all the emotions and y’all it was such an honor to document.  I’m pretty sure if it’s a joyful emotion it was felt & shown throughout the day!!!  One of those emotional moments that I remember distinctly (and I can’t remember exactly how he said it but I’m sharing anyways)… as Maddison & Mark were having their first dance, Maddison’s mom & dad were near where I was standing and I as her dad was standing their watch his daughter dance with her now husband he said to her mom the days sure are long but the years are so short.  And of course me being a mom to two girls lost it right there and I looked back at him and told him he needed to stop that :)!!  Gosh it was soo soo sweet.

Like every wedding I photographed this spring & now summer the chance of rain has been CRAZY high… FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!  So I have gone into each wedding day with backup plans for portraits just in case… but y’all we didn’t need them!!! It was the perfect May day in downtown Greenville!!!  Maddison & Mark’s day was soo beautiful!! From the weather, to the dresses, and suits, and classic decor… it was all perfect and so much fun to photograph!!  I love getting to step back & document wedding days as they unfold and this one was no different!!  I am soo excited for these two and I can’t wait to watch these two be married!!!!  Maddison & Mark, thank y’all soo soo much for wanting me to document your wedding. I have had so much fun getting to know y’all & am so excited for this next chapter in y’alls lives together!!!  Here are a few of my favorite images from your day!!!
