It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a Sunday wedding but I have been excited to document Sam & Ethan’s wedding for months!!! As the wedding week approached I kept watching the weather and all week it was saying that Sunday was going to be a washout… so you better believe I started praying but also contacted one of my dear friends who photographs at the Dairy Barn a lot where I should do pictures on the off chance it did rain. Soo thankful to have her advice in my back pocket… and that I didn’t need to use it!!!! The sun couldn’t decide if it wanted to be hidden or out but gosh I will take changing light ever two seconds over rain drops ANY DAY!!!!
I had to wake up CRAZY early for Sam & Ethan’s wedding day but gosh it was soo worth it!! I was one of the first to arrive at the Dairy Barn but as I walked up Ethan greeted me and y’all he was grinning ear to ear!!! This man was excited that in a few short hours he’d be marrying Sam and they’d be starting their lives together!! One of the things I adore about Ethan is that he is not at all afraid to show his emotions and so throughout the day I found him tearing up and y’all it was the sweetest thing ever!! ESPECIALLY when he saw Sam walking down the aisle toward him!!! I loved that as they walked back down the aisle and they were out of the way the first thing they did was hug and savor the fact that they were married!!
These two were surrounded by family & friends to celebrate and it was such an honor to be there to document their day!! Sam & Ethan, thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your wedding day!!! I am soo soo soo excited to see what God does through y’alls marriage!! Here are a few of my favorite images from the wedding day!!
