One of the things I love about living in Spartanburg are all the quaint little areas I keep finding in this city. When Chrissy & John said they wanted to do their engagement session at Converse College & downtown Spartanburg I got pretty excited because I always love photographing sessions downtown and I had never actually been on Converse’s campus so it was going to be new for me!! I think we were all holding our breath all week that the weather would hold out and that we’d be able to have the engagement session … and it did!! IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL evening!!! We started the session downtown and finished at Converse and y’all the sunset as we were ending was amazing!!!
A few weeks before the engagement session I sat with these two and got to know the two of them, and it was as if I had known then for a while!!! I felt so at home with them and so when they asked me to be their wedding photographer I was soo excited!!! To sit and listen to these two tell about how they met and then how John surprise Chrissy with the proposal (he went all out…. ordered a special ring box so she wouldn’t have any idea AND had a special bottle of wine made that asked the question. The waiters brought it out while they were at dinner), to hear how much they love each other and how excited they are to start their lives together… yep still sooo excited about getting to be part of Chrissy & John’s wedding day!!! The last Sunday of June we met up for their engagement session. Y’all it was the most beautiful June evening!!!! It was that perfect wear jeans and a tshirt but wont sweat weather. It was perfect!!! We had the perfect weather and I had the most perfect time with these two!! Laughing and smiling and geeze I need December to get here so I can get the two of them back in front of my camera!!!
Chrissy & John, I had soo much fun with you two and I can’t thank y’all enough for wanting me to document just a glimpse of your love story. I smiled the entire session & then when I edited the images and then again today as I was picking out the photos to share on the blog!! The way y’all love each other is something I can’t get enough of!! The way y’all look at each other, laugh with each other, and just are!! I could go on and on but I’m not because I’m going to let the photos of you two do the talking!! Here are just a few of my favorites from your engagement session!!!!
