Greenville Wedding Photographer | Brittany & Chad

In the almost 8 years of photographing weddings I had yet to photograph a morning wedding.  That all changed on October 22nd!!  Brittany & Chad decided they wanted the afternoon to be able to spend as husband & wife and with their family before heading off on their honeymoon so that meant a morning wedding was a must for them.  Y’all it was FREEZING when I arrived at River Falls Country Club!!!  I was definitely nervous because the ceremony and all the photos were going to be outside!  The weather this fall was insane (is still insane) because just days prior it was 80 degrees and there I was in gloves, wool coat, and scarf just praying it would warm up before Brittany walked down the aisle.  Aside from how chilly the morning was, it was a BEAUTIFUL day!!!!  Both Brittany & Chad were soo excited as they arrived & it was such an honor to document their wedding day.  What stood out to me the most about this wedding was how much the two of them put EVERYONE else before themselves.  They made it a point to love on and greet and visit with guests and make those that came to celebrate them feel special… because they are to these two.  Brittany & Chad are two of the kindest and loving people you can meet.  The way they love each other, their families, their friends, and especially Chad’s two precious little girls!  These two have been such an amazing example to me in the little bit of time that I’ve known them, I can’t imagine the impact they have on the peoples lives that are around them day in and day out!!  Brittany & Chad, thank y’all for wanting me to be your wedding photographer.  I have loved getting to know your sweet families over the last few months and it was such an honor to document y’alls love story!!!  Here are just a few of my favorite images from their wedding day!!

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]
