Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Brittany & Chad

When Brittany and I started to talk about her & Chad’s engagement session she asked if Chad’s girls could be part of the session.  Well of course!!!!!! We met on an absolutely beautiful morning in September for this session and we had a lot of fun!! The girls took a little while to warm up to me, but once they did we became fast friends 😉 and now my name is “Kema”!!!  Chad & Brittany are the sweetest together and it was so fun to see them interact with not only each other but the girls!!  I realized early in the session that Chad isn’t one to smile (and I seriously don’t understand because he has a BEAUTIFUL smile)… but I’ve now learned that there are four women in his life that make him smile big … and they would be his two girls, Brittany, and his mom (I saw that first hand at the wedding).  Chad is surrounded by the most amazing women and is such an awesome dad!! We chatted a little bit on the wedding day and he told me that he’d always wanted boys but he ended up with two girls and he wouldn’t have it any other way.  I’m pretty sure his two girls wouldn’t have it any other way either!!  I know I already talked about Brittany this week in her bridal portrait post, but gosh y’all she really is one of the kindest and sweetest people you’ll ever meet.  Her love for Chad & his two girls is undeniable and the love back to Brittany from those little girls is adorable.  I can tell they all have so much fun together!!!  It was such an honor to get to document this part of Chad & Brittany’s lives.  I can’t wait to share their wedding images in the weeks to come, but for now here are a few of my favorite photos from their engagement session.

Elegant, inviting, and effortlessly timeless, it draws in couples who want more than a pretty backdrop. They want a full weekend surrounded by their people, steeped in joy, and filled […]

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]
