Before I headed down to the beach for a much needed week with my sweet family I headed to the mountains of South Carolina to photograph Savannah & Jacob’s engagement session. Jacob’s uncle has a beautiful property in the mountains and it was such a delight to be able to do their session there!! Of course with it being late August there is ALWAYS the chance for an afternoon thunderstorm, and that area definitely had one of those prior to us arriving and then we had a few raindrops during the session but other than that it was a BEAUTIFUL evening!! I loved getting a “tour” of the property while also getting to know these two!!! Jacob & Savannah are actually middle school sweethearts!!! They didn’t date during high school but as she says it “their love sparked again” and they are the sweetest!! If you know me you know I have a soft spot for anyone who has dated or known their significant other through their younger years ;)!! There’s something special I think about growing up together… going through those awkward teenage years as friends or as a couple and still loving each other on the other end of it. I’m soo very thankful Gary stuck with me 😉 big poofy hair and all that happened to be my high school years!! 🙂 🙂 Savannah & Jacob are so sweet & they definitely keep each other smiling! They kept me smiling!! I am so excited to photograph their wedding in March!! Savannah & Jacob, thank y’all for wanting me to document y’alls love story!!!
