Originally I was going to take family photos… but due to rain and Brandon’s work schedule Melanie decided that we’d take some photos of just Micah. Granted I would have loved to have had all three of them in front of my camera but gosh looking back at this session it was so special and I am so glad I was able to take so many photos of Miss Micah!! When we first moved to Texas in 2008 Micah was 4 and it’s hard to believe that she is almost 12… how were you a little older than Kenzie when I met you? AHH time moves way too fast!!!!!! I still remember when she tagged along with her mom to youth events and “Kendra & Melanie” dates 😉 and even when she was in kindergarten and I watched her a few times… Micah… you can stop growing up now!!!!!! She is such a bright young lady & I am soo soo excited to see what God has in store for her and her future!! Loved getting to spend an afternoon with her & her mom while I was in Texas like it was old times when Melanie and I would meet up… and then again for photos the morning I headed back to SC!! Such a fun session and loved that we incorporated Micah’s love for music into the session!! Here are a few of my favorites!!!
Yep, you can stop growing up!!!

Such an amazing set of photographs that perfectly capture “not being a kiddo” and “not yet a grown up.” Well done!
Beautiful! I love this age…the “in between” is so important to capture.
She’s beautiful! It’s always amazing to see that in between stage between childhood and adolescence…love that she used her guitar too!
Thank you so much Julie!!
Thank you beth!!
