Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Lori & Josh

I have taken photos when it was cold before but good gravy a few Friday’s ago it was downright FREEZING when I took Lori & Josh’s engagement sessions in downtown Thomasville!!  I was so excited to meet these two because they are from one of Gary’s (and mine for all of a year) “rival” high schools and grew up and still live in the area that we call “home”.  The last time I probably was in downtown Thomasville was on my wedding day 🙂 we had our reception at a venue there (think older building with all exposed brick and beautiful hardwoods… we loved it), I digress… needless to say this little North Carolina town holds a very special place in my heart and my own love story.  My best friends dad gave Lori’s mom my name and she passed my information to Lori and after chatting back and forth the rest is history and I am soo soo excited to be photographing this special time in their lives.  Despite freezing we had a lot of fun roaming around Thomasville and taking their engagement photos at the beginning of the month.  Josh & Lori are amazing together and I just love how much they love one another and how easy they are to be around, they just make you feel at ease… and have me wishing we didn’t live close 3 hours away from one another!!!  We had fun chatting about all sorts of things from them meeting in high school, to not dating till later on, to growing up in Thomasville and now starting their lives together here!!  I can definitely say I can not wait till their June wedding!!!  For now though here are a few of my favorite photos from their engagement session.
