It’s hard to believe that the last time I photographed these four baby “A” was just days old and now (well in November when I photographed them) he was walking all over the place and miss E had grown soo soo much as well!!! It has been such an honor to photograph this sweet family. I first met them as a family of 3 with baby #2 on the way and I have loved watching them grow!! They seriously are the sweetest little family!! Nathalie & I have become friends and so even though it had been about a year and some change since I’d photographed them it totally didn’t seem that long since her & I chat every now and again & they had Kenzie & I over for a fun play date last August when we were in Texas for the arrival of my nephew. I have a feeling if we still lived in Texas miss E and Kenzie would be best of friends and have sooo much fun together, and maybe even cause a little trouble together ;)… as would their momma’s ;)!!!
The weekend I was in Texas this past fall there was a chance of rain ALL weekend. When you have 12 sessions booked for 3 days that kind of forecast just makes you want to scream… and just had me all sorts of nervous!! I remember telling Gary when I booked everything that as long as I don’t have to shoot them all in one day I’d be good (HA!! I ate my words because I did 9 sessions in one day… and while that would have been perfectly okay… I am pregnant and I just wasn’t sure how photographing that many sessions in one day would treat me). Thankfully Nathalie & Alex were flexible when I realized that the Saturday that we were supposed to do their photos might be a total washout. Most of my sessions were moved to Sunday when the chance of rain was a lot lower, but due to prior commitments we knew it might not work for them so Nathalie threw their clothes in the wash early Friday morning so everything was good to go for that afternoon and we met up that evening (Nathalie, thank you for being so amazing and flexible)!!! Thankfully the rain didn’t hit us that evening and the light was beautiful… but y’all it was a HOT one… like it shouldn’t even be that hot/humid in November in Texas. Yes, Texas has crazy weather but it was warmer than usual but these four were troopers and despite the heat and the giant mosquito’s that attacked us we had so much fun and I love their photos soo much!!!! Here are a few of my favorites!!!
Nathalie & Alex, thank y’all so much for wanting me to take your family photos again!! I love being around the 4 of you and miss you guys!!!
