There’s a very good chance I may repeat things I’ve written about this sweet family before… but I don’t care!! 🙂 They were our first friends when we moved to Houston and when we moved to the Greenville area I knew we would miss them a whole whole bunch. Not just because we’d become friends, but because really they’d become family to us. From doing life with them as a couple and Gary & I as a couple, small groups, church, mission trips (Brazil with Meagan & Peru with Matt), to finding out they were pregnant, to pregnant with twins, to bumping into them at a deli and forcing Meagan to tell me the genders, to R & Q’s birth, to us getting pregnant with Kenzie, to sushi dates & new year dates, to everything that has happened over the last 8 years… they really aren’t just our friends… they are our family and we miss them a whole heck of a lot!!!
Matt & Meagan were some of the first people to trust me when I started my business in 2009. I had taken lots of photos before officially launching Kendra Martin Photography, but they were some of my first actual clients. I always LOVE having them in front of my camera & it has been such an honor to document their family as it has grown. I photographed them in the fall of 2014 so it amazes me to see how much R & Q have grown in just a year… it’s hard to believe I’ve photographed them for over 5 years (R & Q y’all have to stop growing up… like right now!!!!). Meagan & Matt, thank y’all so much for wanting me to photograph your memories and your sweet family!!! I love you guys so much and while our short little session was not near enough time together when I was back in the fall… I’m at least glad I was able to see y’all and hug your necks!! One of these trips back I will actually get to spend more time with y’all… I say that, but good gravy something always pops up and keeps us from time together. Please know that I love you guys, I love your kiddos and I’m so thankful for y’all and your friendship and for feeling like you’re family!!!
