Y’all I can officially say that fall is turning into winter (even though that isn’t “official” yet, but according to my winter radar it is) but I feel it and brrr do I NOT like cold weather!! Take me back to a fall evening like this particular October evening that I took Jenny’s senior photos!!! The weather was AMAZING and the leaves were BEAUTIFUL and it had me all sorts of giddy to live in the Greenville & Spartanburg area and have a senior in front of my camera… fall/seniors/the upstate… so many of my favorite things all in one evening!
Jenny’s mom contacted me to take Jenny’s senior photos & I was crazy excited but nervous about finding a date because I was about to leave town for my crazy fun Texas photography weekend in like a week and some days and just wasn’t sure if our calendars would match up. But sure enough I was able to photograph Jenny on one of the last October evenings this year and it was all sorts of beautiful and as I sit with December coming next week I am really wanting to be back to an evening like Jenny’s session. Yes, I am repeating myself, but y’all… I don’t do cold weather. I don’t do snow… or winter clothes… Texas spoiled me and my extent to a winter wardrobe (because I tossed all my big sweaters once we were down there long enough) now consists of long sleeve cardigans or thin sweaters and pair that with being pregnant and just NOT wanting to go buy clothes when I only have so many weeks of being pregnant left means I may freeze!!!! Yep, I’m being dramatic.. but it’s a fact, this girl doesn’t do cold weather!!!
But back to Jenny because gosh I loved having her in front of my camera!!! Jenny is seriously one of those people that you can just sit and spend time with and not realize that hours might have just gone by. She is the sweetest young lady & has the most positive outlook on life and I can’t wait to hear if she got into College Of Charleston for next fall!!!! As you will see from the photos, Jenny is a stinking natural in front of the camera and was just so much fun to photograph & be around!!! Jenny, thank you for such a fun fun evening!!! I love everything about your session and your photos!!! Enjoy these last few months of high school and I’m rooting for you with CofC!! Andrea, thank you for wanting me to take Jenny’s senior photos!!
