In September I headed down to Georgia to photograph the wedding of Stephanie & Manuel!! I don’t know what it is about the weather this fall… but once again the wedding day called for a pretty large chance of rain. That chance of rain definitely made us switch things up but Stephanie & Manuel were amazing and just went with it. If Stephanie was at all nervous that it was going to rain all day it didn’t show. She was ready for whatever, even if that meant umbrellas all afternoon (thankfully we didn’t have to pull them out once.. even though the sky looked really ugly at one point!!). I started off at the hotel where the ladies were getting ready and then we headed to Stephanie’s parents house where the ceremony & reception would then take place!!
I found out after I hung her dress that Stephanie loves birds and bird cages :)!! This mantle had both!! 🙂 🙂
Stephanie & her ladies were so incredibly sweet & kind and so much fun to be around!!
I love this!! Stephanie had yet to see herself in the mirror but when she did for the first time she started crying happy tears!!! 🙂 🙂
Manuel!! Ohh man this is one very kind & Godly man and I so enjoyed getting to see how much he loves his bride!!!
Stephanie & Manuel were originally supposed to have a first look on her parents farm, but due to the rain we did everything at the hotel… so glad the rain stopped just minutes before we did this AND that there was a cute little green area out back!!
🙂 🙂 Y’all I think Manuel was totally smitten!!
These two are amazing!! Their love story is amazing!! I heard about it all and I know I could write an entire book on it, and because I’ve had a hard time picking and choosing what to write, I’ve decided to just keep it short and sweet through this whole post. I will say that their love & their marriage are completely rooted in Jesus and it is amazing to watch the way they look at one another, and love one another!!
After taking photos at the hotel we headed to her parents and hopped out right before getting there to get photos on a nearby Pine Tree Farm!! Can I just say I LOVE this location soo soo much. I need to find a spot like this here in South Carolina because it was awesome!!
Stephanie, you are such an amazing woman!! It has been a privilege to get to know you over the last few months. Your heart towards others & towards life & God is inspiring!!! You have a way with people & a laugh/smile that are contagious!!!! I am soo soo thankful to have met you & to have photographed your wedding day!!!
If you know me (especially if you’ve been in front of my camera) you know that I don’t show photos during a session. It’s just something I don’t do, I never have. But every once in a while I will show a photo and the photo of Stephanie on the left is just after showing her a photo and her response was utter giddiness!!! This is one of those photos I will just forever treasure because of how excited she was!! Stephanie you are beautiful my friend (inside & out!!)
🙂 You two make me smile!!!!
Off to the ceremony!!! Loved all the wooden signs they had leading up to the location!!! I didn’t love the red mud road though!!! Y’all I’m good with gravel roads… but found out that I don’t do well with red mud roads on days that have seen a lot of rain for a few days…. Just thankful I didn’t get stuck!!! When I got back to SC on Sunday Gary said “did you go mudding?”… which stuck around and Kenzie repeated until my car was cleaned!!!!! Give me a paved road ANY DAY!!!
Stephanie’s niece was the cutest!! And I adore this photos of Stephanie & her dad just seconds before she walked down the aisle. She was so full of joy and happy tears & I love it!!!
I love that she started laughing during their ceremony!!! 🙂 🙂
Y’all seriously… these two are filled with so much joy!!!!
Stephanie knew she was getting her moms ring and that Manuel was doing something special to it. But this was the first time she’d seen it and I just love her expression!!!
There may have been a little trouble with getting Manuel’s ring on 😉
Stephanie & Manuel are married!!!!
Gotta love a Best Man and MOH that are super excited for them!!
Reception time!! Loved all the details that went into this sweet wedding!!
I love that there was a donkey!! 🙂 🙂
Y’all what started out as an rainy, ugly day… ended soooo beautifully!!!
These guys had a lot of fun during their reception!! Loved getting to document all the dancing & smiles & love!!
Stephanie & Manuel, thank y’all for wanting me to photograph your wedding day. It was such an honor & I can’t thank you enough!!

What a gorgeous day. Love the bridal portaits in the forest setting with her pretty lipstick and bright flowers, she is beautiful!
LOVE the colors the bridal party are wearing! ESPECIALLY with the forest location you picked in the beginning! Just STUNNING!
Kendra, my wife and I are so very grateful that you came down to Georgia to photograph Stephanie and Manny’s special day. Yes, those red dirt roads can be a real pain when it rains, but I think God knew something special was about to happen and parted those clouds to make way for an amazing evening! Your photos are terrific. Thank you so very much, and may God bless you in all you do!
