Greenville Photographer | Brand New Baby O!!!

A month ago I headed down to the lone star state for the arrival of my nephew!!!  He didn’t arrive as early as we thought he might but I’m soo soo thankful that we were there and could spend his first few days with him.  He was born in the same hospital Kenzie was born in…  so walking through those doors in labor & delivery definitely brought about some pretty raw emotions & memories to the surface and definitely had me smiling & maybe tearing up a little, but so glad that now that hospital brought both Kenzie and my nephew O safely into the world.  O was a little thing but sooo precious & he had mine & Kenzie’s heart as soo as we met him the day he was born (Kenzie is officially obsessed with him… it’s the cutest thing EVER)!!  He is soo soo precious… I can definitely say I have the cutest nephew EVER!!!

We went back over to visit a little later in the day and while we were there I had a chance to take a few photos of O and his parents.  We didn’t do any delivery photos (mainly because I’ve never done those, not sure if I would want to due to my experience having a baby, and Cara definitely didn’t want them… so I knew from the beginning I wouldn’t be taking delivery photos) but she did ask me to take photos later that day or the day after (depending on arrival time)… and y’all I am just smitten with these photos and can now say that I am officially offering fresh 48 sessions here in Spartanburg & Greenville because I loved being able to document the newness & love that was in that hospital room!!!  I had a feeling that I’d love taking these types of photos since they are some of my favorites of my family that one of my best friends took of us the day Kenzie was born… but this was my first time getting to take them for someone else and the bug has bitten me and ahh soo excited to photograph another newborn baby!!!!

Enough with my rambling and going off subject ;), O was awesome for these photos & I so loved getting to take them… especially the ones of him with his mommy & daddy who love him so much!!!  I hope y’all enjoy them as much as I do!!!!  Cara & David, thank you for wanting me to take these photos!! I love y’all so much & I am loving seeing y’all be parents!!!!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
