I met Fred on a Sunday evening, in downtown Spartanburg to take a few headshots for him. He contacted me earlier in the spring because he was wanting a few professional photos. We set the date, the location and of course as the day went on there was like a 80% chance of rain during the time we were planning on doing the session in Spartanburg. Usually if it’s early enough AND I know it’s going to be clear earlier I can contact the client and see if they can meet me a tad earlier to avoid the rain… well I still did that with Fred, but he traveled up to Spartanburg from Clemson where he lives so there were all sorts of variables (GREENVILLE & interstate 85 traffic mainly) dictating if we’d actually get to meet a little earlier in hopes of avoiding rain!!
Thankfully Fred was already planning on arriving early!!! So even though he hit an accident on 85 we still started well before our original session time and y’all it was such a fun session!! I’m still finding it hard to believe that Fred had never been in front of the camera before because y’all he did awesome!!!!!!
As you can see we did a few photos with and without his glasses!! And I’m so glad we did!! I love all of them!!!
I’m so glad he chose to wear blue because the blue totally made his eyes pop!!
Fred definitely had me laughing the whole session! He kept telling me to make sure his professor hair was okay!! 🙂 I have a feeling his students have a lot of fun in his classes!!!
Fred, thank you so much for wanting me to take these headshots for you!! It was such a fun Sunday evening!!

Very nice. Fred has a very nice smile. And I love his “professor hair”. Being a hairdresser, I’ve always liked long hair on guys if it’s groomed properly.
These look great! I like the one where he’s leaning on the red brick wall. Great photos.
Great headshots, he looks very relaxed and comforable in front of the camera!
These are great. He looks so relaxed and genuine.
Fantastic! You captured so many different emotions and I love all the texture in the backdrops you chose.
