Melanie helped with this shoot in so many ways. She works at Ellery Farms and so I know she helped Traci with the ideas behind this day, the setup, tear down, and ALL THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!!! Seriously, I’m jealous of people with floral skills… when I retire I’m going to be a florist ;)!!!! LOL… JUST KIDDING!!! All kidding aside Melanie is talented and I LOVED getting to photograph her work. If you’ve missed the other posts from Ellery Farms be sure to check them out!!!
Traci had mentioned to me that Melanie’s wedding dress was beautiful and she was hopefully going to get her back in it the day we did the shoot… Traci wasn’t kidding, I LOVED Melanie’s wedding dress so much!!! And I loved photographing it in one of the rooms upstairs at Ellery Farms that is just flooded with natural light!!! Ohh gosh I totally just got off track ;)!! Back to where I was going with Melanie!!! I know Melanie came prepared to get in the dress if we wanted her to but I’m pretty sure 😉 she was crossing her fingers that we’d be too busy with other stuff… I think when I turned to her at one point and was like “okay you’re next” she might have wanted to smack me, but she “threw” together flowers for herself, went upstairs and got ready and rocked it in front of the camera!!!
Yep, I love her dress!!! Is it bad that I want to do like a vow renewal to get to find another awesome wedding dress to wear!!!!! 🙂 🙂
Yep, she totally is looking all southern belle in these photos. I love Traci’s vision with the front porch & Melanie on the stairs!!!
Ellery Farms has a few swings on the property, but this is by far my favorite :)!!!
We snuck inside to warm her up and get a few photos on this beautiful piece of furniture!!
We ended the day out on the back fields as the sun was setting!!! It was BEAUTIFUL and so was Melanie!!!
