Greenville Wedding Photographer | Engagement Photos | Valyn & Jon

It has been such a pleasure getting to know Valyn & Jon!!!  From the first time I met Valyn, to then sitting down with the two of them over coffee, to emails, to their engagement session I am loving getting to know these two and can not wait for their fall wedding!!!  When we scheduled their engagement session we weren’t sure what the weather would be like, if it’d be green, if everything would still be “dead”, etc… Having lived in Texas the last 6 springs I honestly couldn’t remember how spring in the Carolina’s was.  I do know we’ve had freak snow storms in April here on the East coast so I knew to be ready for anything!! Thankfully we had a beautiful spring evening!!  We even got lucky and happened to have a lot of pear & cherry trees blooming that weekend and in the location we shot their engagements so YAY!!!! I don’t know if I’ve ever had the chance to photograph a session with beautiful flowering trees so that was such a treat and Valyn & Jon just went along with all my giddiness!!!  I love getting to photograph in spring but I loved getting to photograph these two and their love even more!!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I photographed a wedding at a private estate two years ago where hair and makeup ran behind. We went from having an hour and a half for all of the portraits to having thirty minutes, and that thirty minutes still had to cover the bride and groom, the wedding party, and both families. While we […]

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]
