Greenville Wedding Photographer | Sandra & Jarrod

Since I photographed Sandra & Jarrod’s engagement photos back in May I had been looking forward to their wedding day.  These two are so much fun to be around and even before meeting the two of them in person had me feeling like they were close friends & so I knew when December rolled around it was going to be such a joy to photograph their special day.  I headed back to Houston for a long weekend to photograph this wedding, spend time with family, and photograph lots of other amazing families while I was there… IT WAS A CRAZY BUSY WEEKEND… BUT I loved it!!  If you’ve read any of my blog posts from sessions that happened that weekend you’ll know that the weather was super sketchy and there was no telling what it was going to do.  Saturday morning rolled around and it was beautiful, and Saturday afternoon when I arrived at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church the skies had darkened and once again I was thinking about where to do the portraits if it rained.  I can go ahead and say it…. IT DIDN’T RAIN!!! 🙂 the cold front just blew through and it was a good day!!!!

Sandra & Jarrod welcomed me back to Texas with big hugs upon my arrival at the church!!  Boy was it good to see them again & it was so much fun just documenting them and their families as they finished getting the last minute details together & then got themselves into their wedding garb!!!  I so loved Sandra’s dress & I love that she paired her wedding dress with her boots!!!  There was so much about the wedding day that I enjoyed!!  Once dressed and a few photos were taken it was time for Sandra & Jarrod to get married!!!  I have been to quite a few Catholic ceremonies before but this was the first where I was allowed to walk around a little more freely and document what was going on.  If you know me, you’ll know I’m a total rule follower so part of me just wanted to plant myself in the back of the church since that’s where SOOOOOO many churches require a photographer to stand and stay put during the ceremonies but I DEFINITELY took advantage of this churches rules and walked around a little (all while still trying to be super discrete because this is a holy ceremony and union and I NEVER EVER want to distract from that).  All of that to say, because I was able to get closer and walk around a little there were so many things that I saw that made this service so special and it really was an honor to photograph it for Sandra & Jarrod!!!

Here are a handful of images from Sandra & Jarrod’s wedding day!!!  I’ll be back later in the week to share portraits & their reception!!!!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
