You may recognize this sweet family from a session I did earlier in the fall… A few weeks ago they welcomed baby #2 into the world and a few days after his birth I headed over to their house to take newborn photos. Little Mr. W would probably rather have been playing with his trains or watching mickey mouse than having his photos taken but we managed to wrangle him and get quite a few family photos before he headed off to do his thing (and I totally crashed his party and snapped a few images of just him while he was playing :)). the littlest mr. w was a little angel and was wide awake for the majority of the session which I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can hear other photographers cringe at the fact that I love a wide awake newborn… but because I do not do posed newborn photos I love getting to see their eyes and see their tiny tiny personalities and the connection they already have with mom and dad… so eyes open is something I secretly hope for with every newborn session… granted I also love a sleeping newborn but I really love seeing those newborn eyes!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 The Sunday morning we did this sweet families lifestyle newborn sessions it was pouring down rain outside so it was a tad dark inside the house, but in my opinion it made for extra snuggles and beautiful black & white images!! Y’all I soo loved photographing this sweet sweet family!!! Kathryn & Caleb, it was such an honor to photograph your sweet little family of four!! Thank you for your warm welcome into your home and for wanting me to document this very special time in your lives!!!
