Spartanburg Family Photographer | Such a Fun Session!!

When I first moved to Spartanburg I reached out to a fellow Spartanburg family photographer just to say hello.  Turns out this sweet lady and her family had just put their house on the market and would be moving back to Columbia 🙁 🙁 :(… I think we both feel the same way that we have become friends via technology and I am soo looking forward to the time I get to meet her in person.  I promise this has relevance to this post!!! 🙂 Back when Melissa & I first started chatting she asked if she could send people my way since she wouldn’t be getting back to the area very often. I am just so incredibly honored that she would want to do that… Back in the late summer Joanne contacted me letting me know that Melissa had sent her my way.  Joanne wanted to have family photos taken this fall.  We exchanged a few emails and hadn’t nailed anything down when unbeknownst to the two of us we are sitting across from each other in a Bible study one Thursday morning!!!  I had seen her name tag but thought to myself there is no way that’s the lady that had contacted me, but sure enough it was!!!!!  Over the last few months I have had the privileged of getting to know and become friends with  Joanne and I am soo sooo sooo thankful that God placed her in my life!! Joanne, I have soo enjoyed our walks & talks & getting to be in the same small group with you & just getting to do life with you!!!!!

A few Saturday’s ago I was lucky enough to meet Joanne’s whole family!! Y’all these 5 are amazing & I had soo much fun photographing them!! Andy & the kids were so sweet and it was a blast getting to photograph the kids!!!!  Joanne & Andy, thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your family!! I LOVED my time with you 5 and am soo looking forward to getting to know y’all even more!!!  Here are a few of my favorite images from their session!!!

The image of miss T & her daddy on the right is one that I had sent Joanne while I was editing them and she said “that one may be at her wedding”!!  That made me smile, but if I had a photo of Kenzie & Gary like that I would say the exact same thing!!! Look at that smile she’s giving her daddy!!! LOVE IT!!!

Nestled in the heart of Highlands, North Carolina, Old Edwards is one of those venues that feels like it was made for moments that matter. Elegant, inviting, and effortlessly timeless, it draws in couples who want more than a pretty backdrop. They want a full weekend surrounded by their people, steeped in joy, and filled […]

Whether you’re planning a full wedding weekend or an intimate celebration, you’re in the right place. Because this is the part where I make sure you’re taken […]

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]
