I can say that Gary & I had a BEAUTIFUL wedding day weather wise so I have NOOO idea what it would be like to be the bride on a day that it is raining. I have photographed many a bride on a rainy wedding day & even though it’s supposed to be “good luck” to have rain on a wedding day my heart always aches for those brides, because as a bride that IS NOT what you dream for your wedding… not matter if the most important thing is actually getting married!! Well Christine & Eli’s wedding day… was a day FULL of rain… and from what I hear, it wasn’t just drizzle, it was raining cats & dogs!! So when we decided to do a few fall photos… which if you missed them click here and you can see their photos from downtown Spartanburg… we decided to get them dressed back into their wedding attire for some NON rainy wedding photos!!!
We started this set of photos in downtown Spartanburg & then made our way to a nature area that I was told about!! Y’all let me just say Eli & Christine are seriously an amazing couple…. I know if you’re friends with them you know that… and I think with some of these photos where they are laughing and smiling and just looking lovingly at one another you see it!!!!!! Their love really is contagious & I soo enjoyed getting to photograph it and experience it!!!!
Eli & Christine, Thank y’all soo soo much for wanting to get in front of my camera & for wanting to slip back in your wedding day attire!!! My whole Sunday afternoon we soo much fun!!! I really can’t wait to get together with the two of you again, y’all are so much fun to be around!!!!! <3

Oh I love these! They are perfect ❤️❤️
Thank you Suzie!!!!!
Congrats Christine Cherry Kiem
These are lovely! I think doing portraits after the wedding can be a great thing! There is so much commotion the day of…this allows the couple to be stress free.
This is such a great idea especially for rainy day brides! Her dress is amazing. It totally deserved to be photographed multiple times. 🙂
Love the location, these are stunning!
So Beautiful! Excellent idea…and I LOVE her dress!
What a sweet couple!
I love the connection between them!
Love this idea! So good of you to do this with them. As a bride from a rainy-day, I love my rainy photos, but also cherish the sunny ones we were able to have at our reception (they were different days). Not to mention, this takes the pressure off of fitting in the couple photos – a nice relaxing session just for them. And they look fabulous!
Looks like a perfect day to me!
