Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Kimberly & John Celebrate!!

After Kimberly & John said I do, we all headed to The Heights Villa to celebrate!!  It was my first time at this venue & I really liked how charming it was.  Like so many things with the ceremony the reception had so many hand details that were put together with so much love!!  I loved wandering around making sure to document everything so that way all the hard work that went into everything could be remembered!!  I loved Kimberly’s choice in colors sooo sooo much!!!!  Kimberly & John made their entrance and had their first dance and then guests enjoyed dinner followed by mingling & four of the sweetest toasts (I may have teared up when Kimberly’s dad spoke).  These two are such amazing indivudiuals and as a couple they are even more amazing.  I am so excited to see what God does through their marriage.  The love and support that was shown to them on their wedding day and was incredible and so special to be part of and document!!!  After toasts everyone danced, ate cake, and just continued to celebrate Kimberly & John.

Kimberly & John,  Thank y’all so so soo soo much for wanting me to photograph your wedding day.  From the first email I received from you Kimberly, to the hugs before y’all made your exit for the night there was so much kindness & love from you to and I can’t thank you enough for that.  I loved getting to be surrounded by your family & friends on your wedding day & getting to know y’all over the last year.  Soo very happy for the two of y’all and I really can’t wait to see what God has in store for the two of you!!!

I said it in the blog post Monday… IT WAS A HOT HOT HOT August day.  Kimberly had told me a few times prior to the wedding day to steal them away if I saw a window of time for a few more photos of just the two of them.  So after they were finished eating & their guests were still eating and mingling I stole the two of them away for a few minutes!!  We definitely braved the heat & hummidity again but I am so happy we did.  John, you’re a trooper for keeping that jacket on!!! 🙂 🙂 So glad I had a chance to get these photos of them!!!   I totally didn’t mean to do so many black & white images but I didn’t realize it till I uploaded them & I like them so much I didn’t want to go back and change what I’d done.  🙂 🙂  I am a huge huge fan of black & white images.  If you were to walk into my house you’d see the same is true for our personal photos.  I definitely have more b/w images than color up AND I LOVE IT!!!!

To me there’s just something about them that’s classic, real, pure & timeless!!!
