I seriously can’t believe this little one just turned one!!! I also can’t believe it’s been three years since Michelle contacted me wanting me to photograph their wedding day!!! 2 years ago Michelle & JJ started their life together as a married couple and then a year later welcomed this sweet little girl into their lives and she seriously is the sweetest!! Michelle is a total planner (WHICH I LOVE!!!!!!! 🙂 :)) so back in February I wasn’t surprised to get an email from her wanting to go ahead and get their family/C’s 1 year session on the calendar!! The session was to take place just a little one month from C’s 1st birthday so the photos could be used for her invitations and the party… so our late June date was set and for months I was so excited because I have LOVED getting to know JJ, Michelle & Miss C and it’s always so much fun to spend time with them!!! Fast forward to April (weeks before we were telling everyone we were moving) I had to contact Michelle and tell her our news… her response “NOOOOOOOO!!! Congrats, to Gary but booooo to it being SC” (Michelle you made me smile b/c that’s how I felt!!) and hope that they would be okay with moving their session up because I would have just made it to South Carolina just days prior to their already scheduled session and there was just no way I could make it back to Texas that weekend… Y’all.. I have to say that is not something I EVER want to do. When you all book a session, wedding, or whatever with me that’s your date, time, it’s set, it goes on my calendar in pen 🙂 and I really get excited about each and everything I book!! So to even have to think about moving a session just makes me sick (b/c I am a planner and a pretty don’t change plans unless the bottom is falling out)….. Thankfully Michelle is one of the sweetest, sincere, caring, and laid back women I know and was like ok… let’s look at the calendar!! I was sooo worried and she was amazing about having to move the session up a few weeks!! Thank you for that Michelle!!! So on a hot June, Sunday evening the 4 of us met up at a pack in Richmond to take their family photos mixed with Miss C’s 1 year photos and it was so much fun & I sooo hate we had to move b/c I think Miss C & Kenzie could have been friends!!!! Miss C reminded me soo much of Kenzie just a year ago so it was a lot of fun to spend the evening with her!! Miss C has the cutest expressions and is just such a happy & sweet little girl/baby!!!!!!! Miss C did amazing for the hour and because of that we were able to get lots of images & in two different outfits so yes… I’m doing two different posts!! This first set of photos includes the family photos and the post later in the week will be 99% just Miss C!! Hope y’all enjoy!!!
